Established in 1982 by the Lutheran Church of Australia, the College has grown from its humble beginnings of 33 primary students to approximately 800 students today.

Learning Assistants (SSO) – Multiple Positions Available

Term time only | $39.90 per hour

Are you passionate about making a difference in students鈥 lives? At 最新糖心Vlog, we鈥檙e seeking enthusiastic and caring Learning Assistants to support students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This is an opportunity to work in a welcoming, Christ-centred community where your contribution will have a meaningful impact.

As a Learning Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to support student learning and wellbeing through targeted programs and classroom activities. You will help create an inclusive learning environment, support students with diverse needs, and promote student independence and engagement. The role requires strong collaboration, adaptability, and a proactive approach to supporting students.

A Certificate III in Education Support (or a relevant tertiary qualification) is highly desirable, along with experience in intervention programs such as MultiLit.

Positions available across Primary and Secondary schools:

  • Permanent position (Primary) 鈥 up to 28.5 hours per week, commencing immediately
  • Fixed-term position (Primary) 鈥 30 hours per week for Terms 3鈥4, 2026
  • Fixed-term leave coverage (Term 3, 2026):
    • Primary 鈥 multiple positions available, up to 30 hours per week
    • Secondary 鈥 up to 27 hours per week

Hours may be negotiated, and applicants seeking fewer hours are encouraged to indicate their availability.

Casual – Canteen Assistant

The College is seeking expressions of interest from people interested in casual work in our canteen. This is a great opportunity for those seeking flexible work hours in a supportive school community.

Canteen Assistant 鈥 Rate $42.18 per hour (inc. casual loading)

Casual Call-In Basis Covering Staff on Leave (No set days/hours)

What You鈥檒l Be Doing in our Canteen
Preparing and serving food in a safe, clean, and hygienic environment
Assisting with timely preparation of lunch orders
Providing friendly and efficient customer service to students and staff
Following food safety practices, including allergy and dietary requirements
Handling cash/EFTPOS transactions and support general canteen operations

About You
Friendly and approachable personality
Comfortable working with children and families
A proactive, quick thinker who enjoys a fast-paced environment
Hold (or be willing to obtain) a Working with Children Check (paid employment)
Food Safety Training 鈥 can be arranged by the College if not currently held
